Data - Tokens

Objective to connect a Trak workspace to an application by token training.

 

Key Steps

  1. Go to the "Data" section in Track and navigate to "Tokens."
  2. If you do not see the Tokens section, contact your Trak representative to enable it.
  3. Once in the Tokens page, select the application you want to connect to (e.g., Facebook, CRM).
  4. Follow the prompts to log in to the respective application account.
  5. Ensure the logged-in account has necessary permissions for the business page you want to connect.
  6. Select the business profile page and the specific page you want to connect.
  7. If the account does not have access to certain pages, you must claim or be added as an admin to access them.
  8. Complete the connection process by following the on-screen instructions to save and confirm the connection.
  9. Verify the connection by checking the Tokens page for the connected application and the option to test or revoke the connection.

Cautionary Notes

  • Ensure the logged-in account has the required permissions for the business page.
  • Make sure to claim or be added as an admin to access all desired pages.
  • Double-check the selected pages before confirming the connection.

Tips for Efficiency

  • Communicate with your Trak representative if you do not see the Tokens section in the Data tab.
  • Keep track of the connected applications in the Tokens page for easy management.
  • Regularly review and update connections to ensure seamless integration with Trak workspace.
