# Calendar & Events

## The objective of this article is to guide team members on effectively managing calendars and events within the system, ensuring accurate tracking of tasks, due dates, and event sponsorships.

### Key Steps

1. **Universal Calendar Overview:** 
     - Access the universal calendar to view upcoming events and task completion status.
     - Edit events if permissions allow.
     - Utilize the "View More" button to see tasks due on specific dates.
2. **Partnership-Specific Calendar:** 
     - Navigate to the unique calendar for each partnership.
     - Set due dates for tasks to populate on the calendar.
     - Monitor upcoming events and task due dates for the specific partner.
3. **Tagging Events:** 
     - Site admin creates events in the settings.
     - Associate sponsorship assets with events by tagging them.
     - Add tasks directly to events by tagging them with specific dates.

### Cautionary Notes

- Ensure permissions are set correctly to edit events and tasks.
- Double-check the accuracy of event dates and task due dates before tagging them.
- Avoid overloading the calendar with unnecessary tasks or events.

- Regularly update and review calendars to stay organized.
- Communicate effectively with clients or team members about upcoming events and tasks.
- Utilize the search function to quickly find and tag events with sponsorship assets.
