Activity Report

The objective of this article is to guide team members on how to effectively analyze activity reports in Trak workspaces to understand what is happening, when it happened, and by whom.

Key Steps

  1. Master Activity Report
    • Access the master activity report in the reports section.
    • Review the avatar, partnership, timestamp, and description of each activity.
    • Note that different types of work activity may be captured differently, including thumbnails or images.
    • The report paginates 50 activities at a time and allows you to go back to the beginning of the workspace's existence.
    • Caution: Some activities may have been deleted, so take note of this.
    • Filter the report by partnership or specific user for targeted analysis.
  2. User Profile Activity Report
    • Check the activity of external collaborators or team members by viewing their user profile.
    • Review comments, attachments, and the most recent 20 activities on the user's profile page.
  3. Partnership Activity Log
    • Navigate to a specific partnership and access the activity log.
    • Review when, what, where, and how activities occurred within that partnership.
    • Understand when a collaborator shared the partnership and their interactions within the workspace.
  4. Collaborator Login Activity
    • Access the login section on each collaborator's profile to see when they accessed the workspace and what information they viewed.

Cautionary Notes

  • Ensure to respect privacy and only access activity reports for legitimate business purposes.
  • Take note of deleted activities and consider the context when analyzing reports.
  • Avoid making assumptions based solely on activity reports; seek additional context if needed.

Tips for Efficiency

  • Use filters to narrow down activity reports based on partnerships or specific users for targeted analysis.
  • Regularly review activity reports to stay informed about workspace interactions.
  • Communicate with team members or collaborators if further clarification is needed on specific activities.
By following these steps, team members can effectively analyze activity reports in Trak workspaces to gain insights into workspace activities and collaborations.
